Dean Valentine brings 20 years experience working in new media, Web development and management to his role at NDI. An expert in Web development, Dean has worked for a few DC digital agencies, providing day-to-day management of technical practices and assisting global brands like eBay, Sirius/XM Radio and UNICEF navigate the rapidly evolving digital world of online and mobile communications to meet their commercial and public affairs objectives. Other achievements include overseeing the creation of custom Content and Learning Management System (CMS and LMS) solutions for a wide range of clients, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), ExxonMobil Corporation and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. His substantive and varied experience includes the conception, design and development of Java-based videogames for mobile platforms; designing and building websites for e-commerce and for mobile peer-to-peer file sharing markets; and serving as technical consultant for the BAFTA-award-winning film company, Thin Man Films, Ltd. Dean earned his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Westminster, England and his B.A. in Drama and Theater Arts from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Originally from the U.K., Dean lives in Arlington, Virginia with his rescue pups, Doberman Pinscher, Odin and Dachshund Chihuahua, Lily.
