Weekly Roundup 4/25//2016

Happy Monday readers! Over the past few days, we have been mourning the loss of the legendary Prince Rogers Nelson. Prince, was not only an incredible performer, and cultural icon, but also a musical, social, technological innovator. Prince was pronounced dead on Thursday, April 21st at the age of 57. Since his passing, fans around the world have come together to pay tribute to the fallen legend. One of my personal favorites was the tribute from Saturday Night Live.

Not only was Prince a musical genius, but he was also very committed to getting young minorities in tech. An advocate in technology inclusiveness, Prince inspired the idea of the “YesWeCode initiative, which is part of Jones' Rebuild the Dream charity, which is on a mission to teach 100,000 low-income youths to write code.” Thank you, Prince, and may you Rest In Peace.
