Weekly Roundup 6/14/16
Happy Tuesday, Readers! Your Weekly Roundup is here! Michelle Obama recently started a campaign called The United State of Women celebrating how far women have come and continue to take action by standing up for gender equality. Today, the White House is hosting the first United State of Women Summit, which will focus on economic empowerment, violence against women, health & wellness, education, leadership & civic engagement, and entrepreneurship & innovation.
In light of the United State of Women Summit, we thought it would only be appropriate to highlight extraordinary women in the field of technology. Last year, Forbes highlighted some of 2015’s most powerful women in technology, including YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, IBM CEO Virginia “Ginni” Rometty, HP CEO Meg Whitman, and Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer. NDItech continues to support and celebrate women who have paved their way to better technologies!
