We're Hiring! Product Manager and Project Lead to Shape Tech for Democracy!

Here at NDI we’re looking for a new team to design and manage the exciting process of building products to scale to serve hundreds of democracy and human rights organizations around the world!

 

NDI is hiring a Product Manager to shepherd the architecture, human-centered design, and development of products at NDI, particularly our DemTools initiative. Our partners are  critical pillars of democratic society - local governments, elected officials, civil society groups, and political parties - who need modern technology to effectively drive positive social change. The Product Manager also plays a senior role communicating about these initiatives in internal marketing and to external audiences.

 

We’re also hiring a Project Lead who would be responsible for managing our technology projects, including developing requirements, working with vendors, collaborating with NDI’s internal software development team, shepherding our Agile sprint process, and generally herding cats.

 

These roles have a critical role helping sometimes-antiquated political organizations connect with 21st century digital citizens. This idea of scaling products for the international development sector is a radical innovation; we need passion and vision for how cloud tech can benefit millions around the world. Building product disrupts existing assumptions and systems, and these roles are at the center this transformation in how international development organizations support democracy and human rights.
