Profile
Jared Ford is a Senior Program Manager at the National Democratic Institute. He manages NDI’s work in employing the use of technology to promote and strengthen democracy around the world. Since 2006, Jared has supervised technology-strengthened programs in dozens of countries and has positioned the Institute as a leader in the use of technology in democratic development. His areas of concentration include working with civil society organizations in advocacy, organizing, and oversight activities, as well as directly with legislatures, local government officials and political parties to improve representation, accountability and participation. Prior to NDI, he served in the Office of Senator Patrick Leahy working for the Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations. Jared earned his BA from Amherst College, and his Master's in International Peace and Conflict Resolution at American University’s School of International Service.
